North Mass Boulder

In the summer of 2026, I joined North Mass Boulder as a freelance designer to spearhead the visual identity and digital experience for North Massive 5, the Midwest’s largest climbing competition. I created the event's visual world from scratch by hand-drawing the merchandise designs, custom character illustrations, original iconography, and event map, as well as hand painting canvases to be used in an interactive community art piece. In addition to designing promotional flyers, yard signage, and social media campaigns, I completely built the official North Massive website to highlight the competition alongside event features like live DJs, flash tattoos, craft bars, drag bingo, and local vendors.

Beyond the competition, I provided ongoing design support across the broader North Mass brand. I designed environmental and spatial signage throughout the gym, developed daily social media collateral, and created marketing assets for their in-house retail store, Roam & Stow. I also designed promotional materials for key community collaborations.
